I have a background in human healthcare. I once worked as a med-tech, CNA and Supervisor at hospitals and nursing home care centers. One of my dreams was to work with animals. I would always say to my wife when we would take one of our 4 cats (Mr. Mittens, Mr. Babyman, Uncle Chuckie and Vincent Swishman) or 3 dogs (Layla, Jake and Kiara) that working in an animal hospital was my dream job. When the opportunity arose I jumped at the chance and after being interviewed and then given a one day tryout, things have been great every since. I love seeing all the different animals and owners and enjoy helping our Spanish speaking owners that need a little help communicating. I get a lot of joy and fulfillment out of my job. It just makes life better. Especially at home with my wife and two children. I’m an avid reader of everything from Superman to Shakespeare and love to watch old episodes of Doctor Who. I enjoy playing guitar and am usually easily found listening to any number of musical genres on Spotify or on an old vinyl record.
